Privacy Policy

Last updated: [date]

This policy explains how [Company name] (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use a⁷i (the “Service”).

Information we collect

  • Account information you provide, such as your name, username and email address.
  • Content you create or upload, such as messages, documents, images and apps.
  • Data from services you choose to connect (for example Google), limited to the permissions you grant.
  • Technical information such as usage, device and error logs needed to run and secure the Service.

Google user data

a⁷i’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

DRAFT — the access list below is taken from the app’s current connector settings. Michael to confirm before publishing.

You choose which Google services to connect. For each one, a⁷i accesses only what the features below need:

  • Sign in with Google (openid, email, profile): your name, email address and Google account ID, to create and sign in to your a⁷i account.
  • Gmail (gmail.modify): searches and reads your messages and threads when you ask a⁷i about your email, and drafts emails. An email is sent only after you approve it.
  • Google Drive (drive): finds your recent files and reads the files you ask about, so a⁷i can summarise or answer questions about them. a⁷i does not edit or delete Drive files.
  • Google Calendar (calendar): reads your upcoming events, and creates an event only after you approve it.

Google data is processed to answer your requests and is shown in your own chats. If you add a Google connection to a team you share, that team’s conversations can include the content it returns.

We do not:

  • use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised AI or machine-learning models;
  • sell Google user data, or use it for advertising, retargeting or interest-based ads;
  • transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the features above, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with your notice;
  • let people read it, unless you ask us to, it is needed for security or to comply with law, or it is aggregated and anonymised for internal operations.

Revoking access and deleting data. You can disconnect Gmail, Drive or Calendar at any time in Settings → Plugins; a⁷i then stops accessing that service. You can also remove a⁷i’s access from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete Google data a⁷i has stored, such as chats that quote it, delete those chats or email [contact email] and we will delete it within [N] days.
